Buckle up because here we go!

Have you ever had that need to just move... go... do SOMETHING? Somewhere? A feeling as strong as gravity, except pulling you out into the world. (Introverts don't panic, I got you.) There's a slight burn in the very core of your being for more. More sights. More smells. More culture. More.

When I was younger, I had this incredible teacher Mrs. Robin Wolfe. Formerly Ms. Thieneman. She was the kind of woman that created a ripple effect through generations. She was intentional. She was loving to her students. She was passionate. Even at a young age, I remember feeling her commanding energy & as I got older, I knew that was exactly the kind of presence I wanted when I stepped into the world. It's only fitting that she taught a class specifically coursed on entrepreneurship... I was in it.

Let's fast forward to the present day. I am 28, a mom of 2, & I own a small business called Re.vive. For those of you who don't know me already, we will dive into the depths of what that business looks like later. In short, designing & creating a piece/ space from nothing & watching it transform is so satisfying to me, so I turned it into a business. Because why not, right? Running my own business for the last few years has been so incredible & taken me to places all over the country that I more than likely would have never seen otherwise.

Traveling to Connecticut by myself was the biggest eye-opener for me. I crossed state lines I never thought I would see. I saw sights & culture I'd only ever heard about. I swooned over the differences in the very designs of buildings & homes. I soaked up the energy of the people I encountered. I had businesses following my trip on social media that asked me to stop & visit them! It was SO inspiring.

That trip back to Indiana cultivated the idea behind this very blog. Being on the road, meeting a vast variety of business owners, & hearing their stories, their struggles, their inspirations, & getting a glimpse of their fire; that's what I want more of. I know many would like to talk about the courage & commitment of it all, but I want to dig deeper to display that being an entrepreneur is also one the most inspiring acts of passion, boldness, & a little bit of rebellion.

I'm a firm believer that we all have a story that someone somewhere will connect with & use to grow in their lives. I'm excited to use my life to share the ones I encounter with you. Along with that, you'll catch tidbits of the wild adventure that is raising babies, travel, design, & networking day to day. I'll be sharing plenty of exclusives, giveaways, & fun content as well.
